I just wanted to let you know that I had lobster delivered yesterday to my mother for Mom’s day, and she was elated! We use to live in Maine, and when we moved out here the only time we had lobster was when we visited and brought it back on dry ice. Now all of the family has moved away so we do not visit.
A friend of mine told me about your website and I have to be honest, I was worried about paying that kind of money and not knowing exactly what my product would be. I received my Boston Special order the other day, as promised when I ordered the Lobster Gram. The package was large, and inside, everything was packed wonderfully, I was so impressed!
The contents were wonderful, lobsters fresh, and they had that special fresh out of the water sea taste that is missing from those poor things in the supermarkets in the phony salt water. I really was so impressed, I can not tell you enough times.
The clams and mussels were perfection, as were the snow crab claws, and, so was the New England clam chowder. The corn and potatoes good, but not the main event.
A former "Bostonian',. I find Lobster Gram to be the perfect answer to my personal pleasure, and perfect for gift giving.
This was my first order, and it shall not be my last. Excellent company, offering the real thing from Maine!

You see, my Mom is 97 years young, lives along in NJ and has all her facilities and is quick as a whip, and still has her 1982 Honda Accord in the garage which she sneaks out in once-in-a-while to go shopping.
The reason I'm telling you this is because this year, I sent her your live lobsters for her birthday. It just blew her mind. Everyone else sent the usual flowers, cakes, candy etc... but your Lobsters hit the jack pot! Unfortunately, one of the Lobsters was Dead on Arrival, but your company quickly sent her the tails to replace the one that didn't make it. I feel like I want to hug you, all of you, that work at Lobster Gram!
We planned a nice dinner with some friends and decided to order some lobsters for dinner. We ordered 4 live lobsters, a new pot , butter warmer and 2 pounds of lump crab meat.
My friend Sheri, who has never cooked lobster before, was impressed by the way the entire package was shipped and the attention given to ensuring that everything was cold. She was surprised and delighted to see such a detailed cooking manual including instructions on how to crack and shell the lobster was really helpful. We had a great time, and since this was the first time our friends have eaten whole lobsters, the instructions were tremendously helpful.
The lump crab meat became a seafood salad for two parties we were attending this weekend. I've made it before, but this seemed special because of the lump crab meat from Lobster Gram. I received tons of compliments on the salad and requests for the recipe!

I ordered, for the first time, quite a spread from your company on Sunday and received your package ahead of time on Tuesday. We had family in town from Florida where ironically getting good shellfish is an issue.
Needless to say as a company owner, I do little complaining when things go wrong, and even less complimenting when things go well...
I had to send a quick email to you to tell you the order was OUTSTANDING and I was blown away by the freshness of the order and the sweetness of the meal. Everything from the Lobster Bisque which had a ton of meat in it to the corn which was some of the best of the summer, the shrimp, large and tasty, the clams without a spec of dirt in them and the Lobsters which were some of the best I have eaten in quite some time...
With all the additional items in the kit, our family truly had a meal to remember.
I'm still in awe over the promptness, the freshness of all of the items in the package and the meal its self.

I just had to tell you all what a wonderful experience Lobster Gram has been for our family. I had a gift certificate that I renewed on line from my rewards points so I came across your advertisement. My husband's daughter lives in Virginia Beach and was soon to be having her 52nd Birthday. Since we live in Toledo Ohio, I wanted to surprise her and thought your Lobster Gram was a fun idea~ She and her husband love shrimp and lobster and use to celebrate at a seafood restaurant in Michigan called Gandy Dancer. Lobster College Attendees enjoying Larry the Lobster Finger Puppets from Lobster Gram

Lobster College 2008 hosted by the Lobster Institute & Kenniston Hill Inn Bed & Breakfast is finally over and was a smashing success! Tickets sold out fast for this extended learning weekend that ran from September 18th-21st. "Lobster College Students" stayed at the historic Kenniston Hill Inn B&B, which is an actual Lobster Boat Builders Mansion. This 1786 mansion built by David Kenniston, a prominent shipbuilder and landowner is now wonderfully restored with 10 incredible guest rooms.
Kenniston Hill Inn B&B in beautiful Boothbay Maine After the arrival and welcome session at the Inn, the real fun begins with the first lobster dinner! Because this is a Lobster Learning vacation, each lunch and dinner contains Maine's main export, the lovely Maine Lobster. The next few days are filled with fun, hands-on learning. Students visit an actual working Lobster Wharf to see how real lobster men pull up traps, and galvanize so many industries with one simple crustacean. Lectures and Lobster continue till graduation day when college attendees receive their diplomas and awards, and then it's back home to share the new found Lobster knowledge.

The most rewarding part of this long weekend, is knowing that the tuition costs go to help the Lobster Institute with their yearly fund raising. The Lobster Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to lobster education and sustainability. What better way to support such a great cause than to take part in an experience such as this.

When Lobster Gram got wind of the Lobster College, they wanted to help out the cause. After all, they too are dependent on Lobsters to make a living. Lobster Gram sent out an Email notification detailing the Lobster College to their customers and were able to get a few of their customers to fill the remaining positions! The day the email notification was sent out, so many visitors went to the the Lobster Institute site, their servers crashed (But not before selling out the class!)
All in all, Lobster College is a great example of how businesses of all kinds can work together toward common goals like preserving Maine Lobsters and all of the industries it supports.

I just had to tell you that you absolutely made my birthday! My roommate and I have been trying different lobster tails from you (which you make so easy by offering sampler packages). We cook two different types of tails, carefully keeping track of which one is which. We then get half of each tail so we can do a direct comparison. I never realized how different they could be. So far we have come to the conclusion that we prefer the cold water lobster tails, especially the South African. For my birthday yesterday, my roommate sprang for a couple of Tristan lobster tails. We feasted on them, marveling on how sweet and tender they are. Each bite was better than the one before. Although we did dip them in melted butter, we both agreed that we could have happily eaten them au naturel. Needless to say, they are our new favorites, and we will look forward to enjoying them again on special occasions. Thanks for an epicurean delight.

Living in Florida I am accustomed to a large variety of fresh seafood but nothing can compare to the lobsters I received from you on July 26th. My husband chose this as a reward from his company because he knows of my love of Maine lobster. My daughter’s birthday was the 25th so we thought we would share it with her. It brought back such wonderful memories of summers spent in Maine with my grandparents! It was the best lobster I have eaten since moving to Florida 30 years ago. My girlfriend Marci and I received a Lobster Gram gift certificate from my brother Christopher for Christmas and we decided to use it for Valentine's Day. We decided on the Lobsterpalooza package with two 1.5-lb lobsters. I ordered the package 2 days before Valentine's Day and everything showed up on time and professionally packaged. Our two "guests of honor" from Maine were perky and lively! I decided it would be fun to capture the experience on camera! I am sure that you will be able to tell how much fun we had by watching our video...

This really was an AMAZING and FUN experience that we will remember forever! Not only were the lobsters fresh and delicious, the lobster bisque and lobster cakes were superb. The lobster ravioli was single handedly one of the finest dishes I have ever tasted... I was blown away! Thank you so much, it was a wonderful Valentine's experience! I have heard your product promoted on WGN radio for years, and wanted to do something special for my mom and dad's 48th anniversary so I sent them a live Maine Lobster & Fillet Mignon package. They don't go out to eat very often, and since it's been so horribly cold & snowy in their area, I thought it would be fun. On delivery day the weather was awful. At 4:30 Mom put a frozen pizza in the oven. The FedEx driver came about 5:30 as they were eating their supper... so they had to wait until the next day to enjoy their lobsters. My mom was so excited when she opened the box. She could not get over how beautifully everything was packed and thoughtfully included. She called me 3 times before they even took a bite! "Did I tell you there was a fresh lemon in there?" she said on call #2. Call 3: "The crystal candle holder is so beautiful, and they even put matches in the box! Can you believe that???" They ate the lobster (saved the steaks and bisque) and said it was excellent. My dad is pretty easy to please. Mom is fussier - very classy lady. They're both economical and I about fell over when mom said, "I know that must've cost a pretty penny... but it was worth every cent. I don't know when we ever enjoyed something more, and opening those boxes was better than Christmas." Thank you for helping me celebrate their love and commitment and making their anniversary a truly special occasion. Please pass my thanks along to the whole team for the quality, thought, and TLC. I will definitely order again and pass this idea along to others. It is a perfect gift.

Our son, Thomas, sent us the Lobsterpalooza package as a Father's Day gift. My husband and I had the most wonderful dinner last night! It was as good as any fine resturant! My husband likes only the freshest seafood and this was by far some of the VERY freshest! I really can't tell you which was the better side dish: he liked one, I liked the other. We both enjoyed the bisque and the lobster was wonderfully delicious! The cooking instructions were extremely helpful, since I had never cooked fresh lobster before. Needless to say the chocolate cake was a wonderful finish to a great meal! Just wanted to let you know your shipment from up north made it all the way to south Texas and was enjoyed by two very lucky people! We look forward to ordering in the future. I ordered the Boston Party Gram Lobster Dinner for Father’s day. My parents called twice to tell me how wonderful the dinner was (there was SO much food, they were still eating it 2 days later!!). Not only have they commented on how wonderful everything tastes but they were very impressed with the packaging, which was beautiful, and all that is included for eating. I read about the company in the June issue of Reader's Digest – knowing what a lobster fan my dad is, I decided to try it. Had I not read the article, it would never have occurred to me to ship lobsters to my father! What a wonderful idea this is. I was impressed with the pricing – It would have cost me the same amount (or frankly more) to have taken my father to a restaurant and ordered the same food! So many customers take the time to complain, but not extol, so I wanted to make sure I let you know what a fabulous experience we had with our first order. We heard about you through our Discover rewards program...I went to school in Boston, and have long missed REAL seafood, so I was excited to see your company was based in Maine. Everything arrived exactly on the date planned and was packaged very well. We can't get Dungeness crab very readily here...Everything we ordered was perfectly fresh and absolutely delicious too. You could never tell anything was frozen. I do have one "complaint" - those crabs were so huge that I had to cook them one at a time because I didn't have a big enough pot to hold them all at once. It was the best Dungeness crab we ever had. Being able to choose the date of arrival and track the shipment are great options. A very nice touch to include cooking/cracking instructions; they helped immensely...Thank you for providing both superior products and superior service. My daughter and her husband sent us a Lobster Gram for Christmas and we ordered them this past week.... First we had some difficulty online, so we called and the young lady we spoke with was extraordinary. I have worked in business where customer service is required, and this young lady had it down. She was very professional, solved our problem immediately and got our order into the system and confirmed. We ordered the "Ship to Shore Gram Steak & Lobster" dinner for two and it arrived precisely on Friday afternoon (via FedEx). I am amazed at the quality of this frozen product. The fillet mignon steaks were so tender you could cut them with a fork. The lobster tails were "out of this world" and the clam chowder was probably the best we ever tasted. We also ordered an additional pound of Snow Crab claws and we took our time and enjoyed a bottle of our favorite wine and savored each and every bite. The instruction book was a nice touch and I loved the humorous approach. I would not hesitate to order from you in the future and I am so glad to have found and experienced your company and wonderful products. Keep up the great work.

I called my parents yesterday to wish my mom a Happy Birthday and discovered that they had fixed the full meal on Tuesday. I've never heard them rave so much about food; they so enjoyed their meal, I got to hear about it for 2 hours. Things like "the steak was so tender, you could cut it with a fork" and "the cheesecake was restaurant quality" (my dad said "Cheesecake Factory" quality - and that's saying something). I heard of your company on the Spike O'Dell show...I ordered the above and watched Fed-Ex as it made its way from Portland Maine to Freeport IL. The order exceeded my expectations by a long shot and the surprise on my husband's face was priceless. We had such fun fixing dinner together last night! It was our 1st Valentines' together as a married couple and made the night extra special. The lobsters were in great shape when they arrived...we weren't very good hosts and threw them in a boiling pot of water. The Clam Chowder was delicious, and filling on a cold winter's night. My husband and I always try to pick a gift that is completely unexpected, and will be truly appreciated; especially for them.My grandparents received their Maine Marvel Deluxe yesterday at 3pm. By 5pm I'd received three separate phone calls to show their appreciation, and give me every last detail about what was included. They also informed me this would be at least 3 meals for them! This morning I received yet another call about what they ate last night...the jumbo shrimp cocktail (still had some left), the New England Clam Chowder (amazing!), and a bit of cheesecake (delicious). They are now having fun planning what they will have for tonight's dinner. Thank you so much for allowing me to give them such happiness & enjoyment with this gift. Hearing their voices on the phone reminded me exactly what the holidays are all about!!

My husband Robert received a $100 Lobster Gram for a Christmas gift from a business associate. We ordered the Maine Tails & Filets for 2, plus 2 Chocolate Lava Cakes. Everything was delicious! The enclosed cooking instructions were easy to follow and the lobster and filets were cooked to perfection. I was impressed with the packaging, quality of service and your website. The lobsters you sent and the packaged utensils were a huge hit for Norma's 82nd birthday. It was a thrill for her to receive live lobsters. She had never cooked live lobsters before, and the family had a wonderful time. See the attached picture...Great service and fabulous product! Thanks for offering a quality product.
